I wanna stay on u.s. cellular, but i want to buy the blackjack....

Unfortunately no, US Cellular uses CDMA technology (like sprint and Verizon) the blackjack uses GSM/UMTS technology(like cingular ,european carriers and the rest of the world) they are not compatible, if you want a blackjack you must switch to a GSM carrier, cingular

It's a quad band phone. As long as they are GSM on their way to UMTS it should work fine. I've got one and it's pretty nice. The speaker is great. Get a bluetooth headset for it too. It comes with a spare battery, so it can go through some batteries if used contsantly.
