If you get hit by you parents, but it does not leave a mark (but it is really red for a while after words) then is it still consedered physicle abuse? Also when should parents stop spanking there children.

It depends on the situation, the frequency, the reason,.... what part of the body....if there's injury resulting (beyond a little embarrassment,... cause thats the point) ect. A smack isn't automatically considered abuse.... and very well shouldn't be.

It would of helped if you put your age down.
I don't know if you mean they are hitting you all over your body or if they are spanking you? If it is hitting all over the body call the police right away. If it is spankings I would suggest you speak to someone at your school, i.e. teacher, principal, guidance councellor, or even a minister or another relative.
Someone would help you if you asked for it. Hitting anyone is not right...what would happen if someone was in a real bad mood and they hit so hard that they ended up killing someone...that someone could be you
Plus if you don't get help in trying to fiqure out why they are doing this you may grow up to do it to your own children.

From the looks of your adolescent use of grammar and spelling, I would think that the reason you are getting the old smackass is because you are not focused on your priorities.
One of your priorities should be on School.
Do you pay rent to stay in your home?
Do you pay for your food?
Do you pay any of the water, light, gas, phone, or internet bills?
Do you do your own laundry?
I would have the state come and pick you up to get you away from your alleged abuse.
Then maybe you could understand the difference between learning your position in the family unit, and abusive parental behaviors.
Believe me..... the foster parent system is more abusive than your spoiled little selfish a.s.s could ever imagine.
you should get a good whack for asking strangers advice on personal convictions of your parents.

Getting hit is abuse, but I don't believe that spanking is abuse. The Bible tells parents to discipline their children, but not out of anger. A child needs to tell some authority when abuse is happening.

It is against the law to hit kids then should no this and kids should nt be hit after then are 16 because u the right to move out of home when ur 16 until then u have to put up wit it SORRY.

I think that spanking (and just spanking) is ok when the child is little, say 8 or younger. It shouldnt be used alot and probably as a last resort. If its happening alot or it hut\rts too much than its could be abuse.

and try and get out of the house . I wish I can help you I used to
be abuse from my family to and tell i got help.

If you typed your questiion at Yahoo Questions- then you are too old to be physically abused by your parents. They probably don't have the words and adult manner to get through to you without using violence. You could watch Dr. Phil sometime. He gives good advice.

ABSOLUTLY i had an a**hole controlling dad and he was always abusing me in any way possible. even if they dont leave bruises etc there still hitting you dont put up with it tell someone u trust and just run away from them when they try to hit you.why r they hitting you in the first place?? NO ONE DESERVES TO BE HIT NO MATTER THERE AGE! find a person you can trust to talk to...good luck sweety..

Well if you had done your spelling homework it wouldnt have been a problem...
Yeah its abuse, but good luck getting them in trouble for it...not sure what to tell you here, but talk to someone, but be warned if you tell anyone at school your parents might get in trouble...my dad did, lol...he acted like he was gonna slap me and I jerked my head and smacked it on my bed and well needless to say the neighbors found me bleeding and crying...he never actually hit me, but he almost got in some crap over it...that was 20 years ago though...
