Do criminals have the same rights as other citizens? Should they be allowed cable tv in prisons today? Should sex offenders be identified when entering a new neighborhood? What type of food should criminals be allowed while in prison? Should an ex-convict be discriminated against when applying for a job or trying to rent an apartment? Criminal rights - what are they?

Freedom of information, freedom of speech, Right to bear arms, Right to disciplinary actions for your children, Rights of convicted felons to receive free doctors care for fatal disease, Privacy Issues, Taxation without personal vote as outlined in the constitution, The spirit of Law and it's place in the court..... blah blah, blah......

You want to find an issue that causes heated debate?

Just tell your professor or Teacher that you refuse to answer the questions on any test... stating that All Tests are biased toward minorities ever since the desegregation of schools..... see what happens.

How about property rights over your own bodily tissues, etc.? There have been a few VERY interesting cases about this. Look up the "Mo Cell Line" on Google for a case from the 1980s that is VERY relevant today.

I will tell you the hot topics that we talked about in my Philosophy class. Euthanasia, and assisted suicide was a hot topic. Cloning is another hot topic. They both have pros and cons.
