It is all about professional image. Your first impression will be the deciding factor for a job. In fact, within the first 10-15 the interviewer has already decided to whether or not to hire based on your first impression. The rest of the interview is only formality.

It is a free country and you are free to find work in another city of occupation. As for the hotel, the dress code of the employees is all about image (neat and clean staff = neat and clean hotel). For this reason, some of the best dressed employees in America work behind the check-in counters of major hotels and resorts.

You're an idiot. You want to work in an industry where image is extremely important. Why would anyone employ you if you looked like you'd just stepped in from the dole office?

If I wanted an employee to work at the front f my hotel and to greet my guests as they arrived, I would not want some idiot with corn rows. Why do you even have them anyway? They look awful.

Sounds like you'll probably be delivering newspapers or shining shoes until you grow up and realize hotels want their guests to be comfortable with the staff.

It's a shame you choose to be all me-me-me and can't see the reasons behind it.

The message is you aren't to any extent further attempting to be mean even if the business gadget is not undemanding. and time-honored impressions are each thing. in case you seem neat and specialist, then human beings will opt for to employ what you're promoting corporation. in case you seem slovenly, then human beings will ask your self the position your workers come from. it is like the united statesdriving force. they have a no tatoo showing, short hair, tucked blouse etc. rule for a reason. it is all about image and for this reason they could charge a suitable fee for something as uninteresting as handing over programs. in case you pay nicely, appears like a stupid element to lose a job over (no longer abiding with the aid of your gown code). At UPS, they deliver human beings living house in the experience that they are not presentable. perhaps that is what you should do and if someone loses 3 hours pay, they could imagine two times about making an challenge over something as stupid as dressing neat. yet it truly is the element. in case you do not implement the gown code, do you quite have one. reliable luck.

Welcome to the real world. With every career there is a look to go along with it. Employers have a right to expect their employees to project the image they want. Either conform or find a career that appreciates your look.
