T.R. Knight is the name of the guy who plays George, Dr. O'Malley. His father was the one who was having heart surgery. He came out and announced he was gay after Isiah Washington (who plays Burke) called him a homophobic slur. That started a fight between Washington and Patrick Dempsey, who was sticking up for Knight. SCANDAL!!
