It all depends on what you're trying to accomplish. Are you talking better at gas mileage, raw horses, most torque, drag racing, endurance racing, grocery shopping, modifying for car shows, picking up chicks (then you have to ask young ones or old ones?) Are you talking stock or modified, New or restored? Naturally aspirated, Supercharged, turbocharged, Nitrous? Durability, safety, reliability? Man, there is a lot to take into consideration when you ask a question like that. If you could elaborate a little more i would love to give my opinion.

i own a repair shop, and i don't know about anyone else, but the feel of a good American sports car is hard to beat,i own a 1971 Dodge challenger, and its good ride ,and draws a lot of attention on the weekends,i have other cars to drive ,but the feel of that one is hard to beat, especially when you mash down on the gas pedal, and see the gas hand drop,,that's a sign you been out to long, but i like driving anything that is sporty, but i think the American, muscle car will be around for a while ,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

It all depend on what type of engine you like. Most japanese sports car are 4Cyl and V6 where as American muscle are V8. Personally i like the V8's due to the engine sound but thats my opinion.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R was the last vehicle to make inline 6-cylinders! But American muscle is the way to go... Remember... Ford goes all the way back to 1913!

As the old saying goes...there's *nothing* that beats good old fashioned *cubic inches*. Big block American muscle. Having said that, I'm really a Porsche man, but ground shakin' big block engines still thrill me!
