I have this beautiful ERTE which I inherited and I want to sell it, however I cannot find a venue, I thought of ebay but its so expensive to pay the charges as I was told it is valued between $8,000 and $12,000. It appeared in Harpers Bazaar in the 20s' the framing is double face so all the notes on the reverse can be read, it is signed, and in perfect condition. Thanks for helping out.

do an erte search for who handles his work e-mail them with a photo of the work and mention that it might be for sale if the money was right then after about three of those check out who offered the most for it and if that is not enough take ut a Small ad in ArtNews in the back section of the book and sell it retail galleries will only you about 50% of what it is worth If you don't need the money hold on to it and treat it good it will certainly go up about live a reasonably good car in value

You have an exceptional piece of art work. You need to offer this through a recognised dealer/gallery. Stay away from e-bay! Do you have any provenance [who owned the work, was it in an exhibition, is it mentioned in any catalogue?] This is a work that needs to be handled by a top dealer. Go to your local Art Museum for advice. You have a valuable piece so proceed cautiously!

I Say bring it to Sotheby's and auction it off. I'm not sure how much you'll get but its worth a try. I'm sure its a beautiful piece and you'll have many buyers. Good luck!
