Give them a bit of time to respond. If they don't then you can file an item not as described complaint through ebay. Also I hope you paid via Paypal. If so then file a claim to get your money back if the seller doesn't make things right by sending you the correct item. You will need to mail the incorrect item you received back to the seller at that point.

If it is your mistake, stop whining and pay the shipping. If the seller errored, then it is up to him to make good. If not, go to eBay site map, then on the bottom it says dispute console. If you get no satisfaction, call the seller. If you both cannot come to a reasonable agreement, then leave this seller negative feedback. But, make sure you are totally innocent before doing so.

Most ebay sellers are very willing to work out problems and mistakes. If not, there's a rating system where you can say what your experience was with that seller. Sellers pay attention to thier ratings so you'll probably be fine.
I always check sellers ratings BEFORE I bid, and the 1 problem I had with getting a product was resolved immediately. As an ebay seller, I had one item the buyer had a problem with, and I took care of it right away.

Wait a day or so and if you get no response, request their contact info (there should be a link on the auction page to do that). Give them a call. If the person has good feedback, you should be fine. If you don't have an answer within 4-5 days, file a claim with paypal (if you paid that way). Otherwise, file a claim with ebay but for that you have to wait 30 days.

Could have been just a mix up in packaging. Give the seller time to get back to you. And then you can go from there. If things can't be handled from that point then get in touch with Ebay.

See if his listing has a -phone number. If it does, by all means call him. I sent several e-mails to a seller, who finally complained I should have called him.

You did the appropriate thing and if they are reputable they will make it right and send you instructions on what to do next.
