Missouri, USA (in the middle) Its about 16 degees Farenheight and is sleeting and snowing, and the wind chill is like -5 or something. We didn't have school today or tomorrow because of the snow. I'm not sure if it even snows in Kenya...we got 3 inches of rain this morning though...before the snow and sleet.

I live in Issaquah, Washington, USA (just outside Seattle), in the northwestern part of the continental US. Here, the climate is mild, and often rainy. We had snow a couple of days ago, but that's relatively rare for our area. We have also had flooding recently, so I can sympathize with your situation.

A few miles east of me is the Cascade mountain range, where snow is very common. West of the Cascades, it's very wet because of its proximity to the Pacific Ocean; east of the Cascades it is relatively dry, because it is the leeward side of the mountains, and rain is generally dropped on the windward side as the air rises and gets cooler.

I'm from South Africa originally; I checked with the African Weather Service. Right now it is 19.5 °Celcius there.

I live in New Jersey, USA now, where we have been having a nice warm spell. It's 57°Farenheit here. Definitely unseasonably warm!
