I've had late periods before, but this is ... not late. It's about a week early!

Not much blood. Maybe a spoonful. And mostly dark dark brown, save for some pink. The cramps appeared on one side for a little, and then... nothing. No usual PMS symptoms or anything.

Hoping this could be the implantation bleeding I've heard and read so much about in my two years of TTC! *cross fingers*

To clarify - It showed up on Tuesday night, and there was some showing on Wednesday morning. It could have just been from while I slept.

Not stressed about anything for once in my life. So that's not it. :)

If you are concerned, get a pregnancy test and carefully follow the directions. It may just be different because of stress. If it continues on subsequent periods or other changes occur, you might want to see a doctor.

That could be implantation. Ive had that happen to me 2 times, but it only happened for one day, but I have heard it can happen for 2. Good Luck!! ( a test would definitley work by now. IT did for me. I took one on the day I had implantation bleeding and got a faint positive)

With the change of weather--periods act weird.
Put a hot water bottle on your belly, ease the cramps and knock the period down perhaps.
