Pink, yellow, red as you have tanned skin, they will suit well. As for heels - something medium size that is comfortable to walk/dance in, the last thing you want to feel in uncomfortable. Go shopping to get some ideas of colours/styles that are in for the season or that are appropriate for the event. Look in magazines and try heaps of out fits on before you buy that way you have an idea and bring someone along shopping with you that is going to be honest and has a great eye for fashion. Good luck

Light tan, creamy yellow, yellow/gold would like nice with your coloring normally. Put on some blush with those sparkly gold tones in it and that would make you look extra festive. As far as heels...definitely depends upon the dress. Get the dress first and then you can have a better idea what shoes would look good with it. And remember you want to have fun dancing...some people can do a great dance in heels and some can't...so keep that in mind so you have FUN....most of all....look in the mirror and ask yourself in the store..."does this do something for me".... if it doesn't uplift you, make you feel like you look special or hot....keep looking!

Bright colors look good on tan skin, and so does black and brown. You could wear basically any color, but I think a bright color will make you stand out and look really good with your skin color and hair color. ALso, a gold dress would look really extremly good with your skin tone. It would make your skin kind of glow. Wear eyeshadow that matches your dress, and gold eyeshadow would look so good. Definatly wear heels...its homecoming...its formal!! You can always take them off to dance and stuff!

The perfect color to really make your tan pop is a bright turquoise blue. Don't wear pink- it looks bad with a tan. Turquoise will look even better because you have brown eyes and hair- there's a reason fashion always pairs blues and browns! :) I would recommend a below-knee length dress, with heels- it's nice to look taller, the more average 5'3"- get some comfortable 3" heeled shoes. (The shorter, knee-length dress will make you look talIer and your legs longer.) would recommend a color like this dress:

but with a length more like this one:

However, you might like either of them!
I also think this one is really cute: http://cgi.ebay.com/50s-Strapless-Aqua-Blue-Satin-Gown-Prom-Dress-S_W0QQitemZ140052218167QQihZ004QQcategoryZ3061QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem
These shoes are great:

I LOVE these shoes:

Do your hair half down, half up, with some great swingy chandelier earrings- do your makeup casual and cute!
So... tell me what you think! And go for the aqua- you'll really stand out! NO LIGHT PINK- they'll ALL be in light pink.

alright... first of all i would recommend something eithor real light(pastel colours)...or soemthing bright(like a green or red or something to that effect)...also because your only 5' you dont want to wear something long i will make you look shorter than you are you want to look taller and by wearin something about 1 inch below the knee or to the knee you can pull it off... also as far as the shoes go, if you do happen to choose long dress wear heals if you chose short dress heals are not always necessary! but can be done! REMEMBER THOGUH NO CHUNKY HEALS!
ENJOY UOUR HOME COMING AND HAVE FUN!
