OK now this has been killing me. Does anyone know who to block a site so that kids could not get into it. My Boyfriends lil sister has been doing stupid things on myspace n i want to block it from their computer so she can't get onto the website. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP. Its ruining my relationship with him. Cuz im the one that gave it to her to began with.

You can do this by editing the hosts file on the computer.
Navigate to this folder (assuming you have a windows XP system)
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS\ETC
and open the hosts file using notepad.
enter the following line of code somewhere below the line that says
127.0.0.1 localhost
(code to enter)
127.0.0.1 myspace.com
Then save the file.
What this does is tell your computer that whenever a browser tries to access any page that has myspace.com as part of the url, it will redirect the browser to a default "404 error" page.
As long as your bf's sister doesn't know enough about a computer to change that back, you should be good to go. But, be aware that no one who uses that computer can use that site until you change the hosts file back.

go to internet explorer
go to the tools menu on top then go down to internet options
click on the security tab
click on the restricted sites (red circle)
then click on sites button right under that
type in myspace.com then add
type in home.myspace.com then add
type in login.myspace.com then add
click ok then ok and ok again if needed
i just tried it and it worked. in that same section you can scroll through blocked sites and remove the block.

easy if you have access to the router you can clock www.myspace.com in the router and she will not able to access it on any pc in the network
or make her account on the pc limted account
and
login under an administrator account that has a password
and goto
start
control panal
internet options
security
restricted sites
and add www.myspace.com

without hacking their community or bypassing their IP handle... you could no longer... and should no longer desire to the two! you're at artwork... in the event that they have blocked some web pages, it is probable because of the fact they desire you to spend greater time working... no longer surfing the cyber web!
