Not all lawyers are making good money. Some make lots, some make nothing. I even know a lawyer who play poker for living.
Trial lawyers usually make more money than the general practitioner, especially those who work on personal injuries.
I work with lawyers all the time. I even have a friend who is a lawyer. He makes an average of $3000 a month. Quite a few I know have financial trouble.
If you think a law degree is a certificate of intelligence, then go ahead and study law. If you want to make lots of money, then you better think twice.

you're blending issues up. The $350 an hour might want to practice to legal experts in large corporations in massive apple that artwork for giant corporations, that is the utmost-paying sector of the criminal occupation. those legal experts make so much better than $125k, yet they actually have a mess of overhead, like employ on workplace area, secretaries, paralegals, bar association dues. yet previous large agency legal experts, there are a selection of different legal experts who do criminal protection or own harm. For this 2d team, the conventional pay is likely a touch in the direction of $125k. Then there are those who artwork in goverment or the nonprofit sector or as public defenders, who can make even decrease than $125k. human beings imagine of legal experts as making use of BMWs and wearing expensive suits, yet that is the accurate sector--there are better that positioned on vivid suits and pressure a Hyundia.
