Ive had 7 kids...6 of them natural. The pain you feel is going to be unique to you. If you have a high pain threshold then it probably wont be that bad. If you have a low pain threshold..just remember you can always get medicine if you want. I have a high pain threshold..I slept thru one of my labors! My sister(the wimp) has a VERY low pain threshold..but even she didnt think labor was "that bad" I think it also has alot to do with how well prepared mentally you are for labor.

It hurts more than you can think bu then it is over and you know it was so worth it and the pain then doesn't seem as bad as it was. But it is funny when you hear a husband saying we are having a baby and he has know idea what is involved and he could not handle half the pain.

Its a pain like no other. But it is also a pain that you will quickly forget. Or else women would stop after one. There really is no reason for women to go through any pain when they can have an epidural.

I have two kids, had them both naturally and no drugs not even gas and as soon as its over you dont care how much it hurt.First one took 23 hours but it flew by. Second one took 4 hours and it just felt like he just slipped out. It was the next two weeks of feeling like my bits had been beaten by a meat mallet that got me.

well my mother in law said she was like "that was IT???" but ive had 2 babies and my first one was EXCRUCIATING. my 2nd was was WAY better and not nearly as bad as the 1st. I think the more babies you have the easier it gets. everyone is different but i think majority of moms will tell you it hurts really bad. BUT after all that pain you soon forget it bc you have your little one.

It depends upon the woman. My mother has 6 kids, each one of them born vaginally and without any pain medication, and she says the pain wasn't ever that bad for her. My best friend, however, has 1 kid and she was screaming, crying, and begging for someone to kill her immediately... So, it all depends.

Depends on your pain threshold. That is why it maybe painful for some and not even bother others.

For myself I had my son all natural and was fine.

every woman is different...every pregnacy is different...no one can tell you for sure...to me it fealt..(the only way I can describe)...was like the worst gas pains...like before you have diahrea...but it is nothing that a woman cannot handle...we have been doing it for a long time...shoot since the beginning of time...and just think...it doesn't last.."forever"
