Motorola Sliver stolen second time in one month?
I had insurance, and just got it replaced for $50. This time I thought I would wait, collect all the numbers the person calls for several days. I thought about calling the numbers this morning, but I do not think I could find out who has it that way.
So, Monday, I am thinking about turning all the information in on numbers called, and filing a police report?
What does anyone think is the best course of action. The phone cost over $200 with a 2 year contract. If I file it on insurance again--2 strikes in a year, then you are cut off of insurance Plus it costs another $50--not counting the $5/a month payed.
Any suggestions will be appreciated?

Actually, this phone I bought for my son who is 19 and in college. If I file insurance again---I am keeping the sliver and giving him my cheap phone!!! I will not need insurance if I have the sliver.....lol
Anyways, I am trying to find it and collect all the numbers--the person is using it. Tomorrow will be icy roads, so I am waiting until Monday to file report and it will give my son a last chance at his sliver, otherwise I will have a sliver, he will have a $40 Nokia.

I went to police, was told to tell cingular the serial number and let them watch for phone? I turned in list of numbers called including one Landline number--accessible at smart pages-with name and address.
So, I gave up filed on insurance, so what, if insurance is cut off., my college student now has my cheap cell phone, and I Will
get a new sliver! Not that I want one, but it will be a 'wake up call' that he does not have one.

The police can find out better than you can who has your phone. I'd go to them immediately.

I have two questions for you...

If your phone is worth so much, why do you hesitate to file a police report?

and...

Where are you keeping your phone that it has been stolen twice in a month??

I think you should keep a tighter rein on your phone.

Good luck...
