popcorn from the theater or the microwave popcorn in the little bags ?

Neither. It's dead easy to make popcorn from "scratch".
You can buy popping kernels at the supermarket. Heat peanut oil in a deep saucepan, cover the bottom of the pan with the raw kernels, slap on a snug-fitting lid (you have to have a lid or you'll have popcorn all over the kitchen) and wait until you hear popping. While you're waiting, you can melt some butter to drizzle over the popped corn (although that'll add tons of calories).
In the end you have really tasty, fresh popcorn with absolutely NO additives. The so-called "butter" they put on it in movie theaters is more synthetic than real.

Definatly popcorn from the movie theater. They both taste so different. I dont think the popcorn in the little bags has enough flavor and butter.
