Yes it does - very much.
It is so much easier to tell the truth & the way I look at it, if someone lies, they are obviously covering something up.
Any relationship has to be built on trust & when that is gone, what do you have? Nothing.
For myself, once that bond of trust is broken with the first lie, then I start looking for others & sadly usually find more.
I don't understand deceptive people.

Yes it does, lying will get you no where. The truth always comes out anyways, people should just tell the truth to begin with. Honesty is a big one also.

Yes it does. It seems so heartless to be lied to when its about something that the person knows is important and that you want and need a truthful answer.

My daughter is 17 and had diabetes. She lies to me all the time about what her blood sugar is. I have to check her monitor myself because I know she will lie to me if I ask her what it is. Her health is important to me. My father is dying because he didn't take care of his diabetes.
