We pretty much can write about anything in history....so, I chose the Medieval Crusades. This were a series of military campaigns (i.e. wars) in the name of Christianity, wanting to re-capture the Holy Land (Jerusalem and other former Christian territories) from the Muslims.
I find this subject very interesting, but does other people?

Yes I find that to be very interesting. I think it would be neat not only to write about the crusades, but possibly tie them in to whats happening in todays time. Many would say we are currently in a crusade right now with all that is happening in the middle east right now. Im sure you can find plenty of similarities to write about.

Of course. I love Medieval European history all the way up to Colonial American history. Plus, most other years as well!

i do because this can open your world into a new way of looking as CHristianity (Catholics). This can also help you think what does it mean to be Christian......are you a Catholic??? I am a Theology teacher and i love to teach this topic especially the controversies it involves... this can make my students really decide what religion they want to pursue in thier lives....good luck!!!
