I've also submitted poetry, and it was going to be published but I had to purchase the $40 book that it would be published in...I would definitely look for another source where you can get published w/ out paying!

p.s.- and no i dont know anyone who has won money from them either....although i am submitting my poem for the $10k scholarship just 4 the heck of it

It is a bunch of crap!!! I sent two poems both were accepted but they want me to buy the books that they would publish it on.
Why would I pay for something which I don't need except to see my poems published. Too much money to spend hard earned money/

I never knew anyone, I tried to submit of a poem once and it wouldn't accept it saying it had too many lines. I edited it down and it still wouldnt take it. It may be a load of crap. Good luck with it!

it is a bunch of crap. to get the money you have to pay money. makes no sence. but they suck you in.
