What is the CDC Foundation? When did it begin? How does it influence the CDC?

Center for Diseases Control ......... and do not know about the influence.

It's the Center for Disease Control. It is not influenced by the pharmaceutical industry, except to test the drugs to see if they are helpful in epidemics or pandemics. I have no clue what the CDC Foundation is.
