Because they've been so popular for 30+ years and they got some of the best songs in rock history. They are like the Beatles gone metal. Their stage effects and makeup infatuated a lot of teens and young adults. And to this day there are KISS fans of all ages. They have 250+ great songs and have traveled the world several times playing great music and putting on an awesome show.
And as a loyal KISS fan, I have to say Legends will never die.

The bands you listed at the instant are not to any extent further crappy, it is all with connection with the guy and oftentimes what technologies they a from. My regularly happening band modifications lots and on the instant i'm feeling Flyleaf and my modern-day obsesion Bullet For My Valentine. BTW they're rock what else are they going to be if now no longer? What isn't rock is the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana. they're now no longer even close.

They're NOT!
Led Zep would put 'em to shame. So would the Stones of the 60s
(with Brian Jones) AND the early 70s (with Mick Taylor).Aerosmith and Pink Floyd (of the 70s), too.Beatles as well.
KISS is Rock Hall material, but not the ultimate-too much competition.

They are ok. But in my opinion the best rock band is Green Day!

They are a great band but, Journey is the all time GREATEST!

Thats only Gene Simmons and Paul Stanleys opinion. I would have to imagine if you asked the majority their opinion, it would be either the Rolling Stones or the Beatles.
