I need to know a rating for Christmas.

She loves ps2 games to,so what should i do????

I enjoy the DS, it is fun and not very expensive. I am 11 and I love playing the DS. although she might like the PSP better, I'm not sure if any PS2 games are made for the PSP too but I would buy whatever you think she likes best, after all you know her better than I do.
EDIT: 10 year old girls know better than to destroy something like a PSP also many girls do like killing and fighting games not all kirby and puppy games! You guys made me mad...
EDIT: Acctually 10 year old girls do know the difference between the DS and PSP, were not dumb.
EDIT: And we don't break everything we get our hands on!
EDIT: AND again girls can play death and fighting games too! I play plenty of games aimed toward adults and teens.

Give her a nintendo ds lite, one it is for kids mainly tons of games for girls and it is really fun. A psp is harder to figure out because there are tons of little buttons all over the place. With the ds there are only a few buttons that are easy to learn. Also the screens stay protected better than the psp since you can close the ds. Especially since 10 year olds probably will carelessly leave the device on places and the screens could get scratched. Also the ds has more kid games unlike the psp where it is mostly geared for teens and adults. 5 is what i rate the ds

Nintendo DS. Its cheaper, its cooler, its a kid system. The PSP has sunk to the bottom of the Atlantic. The only good games are all rated Mature.

I would give a girl a Nintendo DS. The games like Harvest Moon, Nintendogs, and many other games would be more "girl-friendly". PSP have more action and violence games.

The Nintendo DS caters to the more youthful and extra female crowd (even though it does have various of video games for boys too). The DS at the moment has 3 kinds because the unique DS (which has undesirable lights and is heavy and cumbersome), the DS Lite (which has extra useful lights and is way lighter), and the DSi (which has a digicam and is the most up-to-date one out).

I would say DS, because it has more kid related games. But I think overall, the PSP is better. If you get one of those for the girl, you should make sure she doesn't get addicted and plays until her eyes bleed.

get her a psp. better selection on the games. if she loves the ps2 games then you won't have a problem. the games for girls on the DS are nice but to me they seem to be for younger girls

YOU SHOULD GET HER THE DS. SINCE SHE'S 10, YOU SHOULDN'T BE BUYING HER EXENSIVE THINGSLIKE THE PSP UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR SURE SHE WON'T DESTROY IT. THE DS HAS MORE GAMES THAT A 10 YEAR OLD WOULD LIKE. FOR EXAMPLE, NINTENDOGS, ANIMAL CROSSING, AND KIRBY SQUEAK SQUAD. IF SHE LIKES GAMES WHERE YOU ACTUALLY FIGHT YOU COULD GET FINAL FANTASY III. OVERALL I GIVE THE DS A 5.

ds because its more of a "kids" kind of toy if she likes that or psp if she wants more mature and "teenager type" games or multi media
