Okay. The problem is 9/2x+2=8/x.

(Nine over 2x plus two equals eight over x)

Please use the "fraction-buster" method and explain in understandable terms.

Have a nice day.

You bust the fractions by multiplying each term by the common denominator. This will cancel out each denominator.

Here, the CD is 2x

So 2x( 9/ 2x) + 2x(2) = 2x (8/x) becomes

9 + 4x = 16

Now just subtract 9 from both sides and divide by 4

one thank you to remedy all those issues is to apply substitution. as an occasion: one million. 3x - 5y = -7 3x = 5y - 7 x = (5y/3 -7/3) ; then replace this value for x into the different equation of the pair to truly eliminate x from the equation: 2x - y = 7 2 (5y/3- 7/3) - y = - 7 (10y - 14)/3 - y = -7 10y - 14 - 3y = -21 7y = -7 y = -one million, then replace the cost of y = -one million into the two equation to get the cost of x: x = - 4. examine for correctness via substituting those numerical values into the equations to work out that the LH area = the RH area. Use this comparable technique to remedy the 2d subject. learn via doing.
