It happened to me so many times when I would be sad and at my lowest, thinking about my dad. And right before my eyes there would be the monarch butterfly. Has anyone experienced this?

Kathy, you are so fortunate. Your father is sending you hope and letting you know that he is ok. Butterflys symbolize transformation. This is what has happened to your dad, transformation. Cherish these moments, and the next time it happens tell him you love him and are glad that he is ok. This is the way that spirit works.

Wow yes I actually have. I used to live in Monterrey...it was so beautiful and some what surreal. They almost blanket the sky. If you get a chance to see them take it, and bring a camera, I wish I had. Sometimes when live near something amazing we don't appreciate it until we leave....darn the luck!

yes.my fiance loved bees,and we spoke of beekeeping together one day.after he tragically died,i would look out the window-plain brick wall,no flowers,above a barren parking lot-and as i sat crying,so often,a bee came and sat on the screen!one stayed for 2 hours!!!once,in JANUARY ,a bee came and sat on my coffee cup while walking outside.things like this happened so often,i called them my "Pet bees>"also,2 days after he died,i got up at 5 am,and went to my moms room,too heartbroken to sleep.i laid on the floor,then as we both cried,i said to her "i want to try to sleep,but that damn nightlight is shining in my eyes!>"at that moment,the nightlight blew out,and the room was dark.my mother and i were comforted,she had recently changed the bulb,it was new-we were sure he had been trying to say he was with us.i still talk to him in my mind,and send him my love,and 5 years later,i still get signs.so yes-i dont even begin to know how it works,but i think ur dad sends those butterflies,as signs of love to help heal u.to let u know life continues.in many cultures,a butterfly is a symbol of a soul now free.so,take care,ur father wishes all the love in the world for u,and his love surrounds u,and will untill long in the future,when after a happy life,u,too go HOME.

no i havent but if every time you are sad about your dad i think your dad is giving you a sign that everything is going to be ok .
my grandpa pass not to long ago and sometimes i cry cause he left me but im glad he went o a better place so that he wouldnt suffer any more

I believe your Father (in heaven) wants you to be at peace.
Death is not the end, it is a beginning- of eternity! woohoo!

it sounds like his spirit helper. it is normal. i will appear as a crow. my spirit helper is the crow. you are drawing him to you when you think of him. he may even leave you things,something as aa clue to what is going on in your life. if you see anything that is out of place or unusual around anywhere, like maybe a strange stone, something not found in your area, then you know its him leaving an answer to you. hope this helps. he will always be around you, he is right there in your heart. merry christmas.!
