Sometimes we have the tendency to act like small children again and we have a fit if we don't get our way. It's part of human nature to have our hopes up about something only to be disappointed when it doesn't come through.

because that is the definition of frustration. we are programmed to want what we want. and yeah, i agree that humanity is selfish and self-centered.
