I had a double major and did not have a minor. I would have had a hard time fitting in two majors and a minor without going to college for another year or pulling all of my hair out. Between two major requirements and general education requirements, I couldn't fit anything else in.

You don't have to have a minor if you double major. You can pick up a minor only if you want to. But with the course load of a double major, it might be too much.
However, with my major at my college, you have to choose a minor because the major doesn't require a lot of credit hours and you need to graduate with a certain number of credits.

Most don't, because it would be a huge scheduling hassle and probably require additional time on-campus beyond the regular four years. If you're looking at the overall student population, you'll find that the vast majority of students do only one major and don't even bother with a minor.

I can't even imagine how stressful that would be, but I don't see why you couldn't if you can keep up with all of it.
