This is the answer -

Won't work. For communism to work, each individual would have to receive no more, and no less, than any other individual for the collectives output. Not humanly possible. Everyone is a specialist, making the output of those with rarer specialties more valuable than others. When one contributes significantly more to the common good than another, that person (even one who supports the communist ideal) will inherently receive greater attention and care from the collective to assure continued supply. This is not driven by capitalist motives (greed only amplifies it, but is not the cause of it) , but for the preservation of those goods/services for the collective. It may not be monetary, but instead through better health care, better home, property, or ??? Regardless, the person able to produce a commodity or service better than the average population will receive exceptional compensation. Result - Something that is not, by definition, communism.

Communism could work if the government principals don't commit the crime of lining there pockets , look at Cuba ... Castro is a billionaire , Rather than sharing with his people , he started with good ideals but then he changed , the good life is just too good . I have not seen a communist government that has not taken advantage of their people , and it never lasts for a long time .
Communism , government dedicated to the people , all equal , supposedly it does not support rich people , and no poor ones , almost like an eutopia , does not tolerate religions , because makes people think and act against the government , government has full control over all aspects of the peoples life's .

Communism is the equal alottment and resource management in an entire society. EX: doctors make the same as farm workers.

Communism is a good practice, but ONLY in theory. When a doctor in a communist country realizes he can make 12 times what he makes in his native land, he'll try and defect. It's a very tough thing to make work. An ironic fact of communism: One very important figure (i forget the name, but hes a famous historical figure) said that the USA would be the first to accept communism =P

Factors that could make Communism work:
1. Equal poverty for everyone.
2. Armed thugs posing as government.
3. Altruists posing as intellectuals.

Communism:
"The Communists' chief purpose is to destroy every form of independence - independent work, independent action, independent property, independent thought, an independent mind, or an independent man. Conformity alikeness, submission and obedience are necessary to establish a Communist slave-state."

The most extreme example of Capitalist vs Communist states is West vs East Germany during the Cold War. The West was a thriving, modern culture with its citizens generating great wealth for themselves. The East was a dilapidated sink hole with bomb crater left over from WWII and its citizens clothed only in rags, risking their lives to escape.

Anyone who tells you that "true-Communism" never existed, is ignorant of history. The Soviet Union, China, Vietnam, Cuba have all followed Marxist principle to the letter and achieved exactly what they preached. Since the fall of the USSR, sympathizers defend it by saying that it wasn't "true-Communism" but some variant of Socialism.

Know that Communism is socialism applied to economics. Communist ideals are noble, their methods pure evil.

To make communism work in real life, we would all have to stop being human, more or less. Human beings are naturally self-centered, and communism does not allow for that. Also, everyone would have to want the exact same things, for as soon as someone wanted something else, it would create an imbalance in society. Communism is too idealistic.

I define it as communal ownership of everything. And it won't work for the same reason that in the movie the Matrix the first version of the Matrix where everyone was happy all the time caused the people to die.
Struggle for existence just seems to be in human nature, pulling together in groovy harmony is not. For better or worse we seem to have a need to strive.

True communism has never been tested. It's more of a theory. What you read about in the USSR and China is more of a Socialist society.

communism works perfectly, in theory, and that's the problem. Too many people are too corrupt to let it be succesful. Everyone's supposed to be equal, but in reality, the select few get richer and richer while the working class suffers. There's not enough honesty in the world to make it happen.

True communism(complete lack of money and capitalism) is only if one the following holds true:
1. People become altruistic and start caring for other people as much as they do for themselves.
2. The goods become SO abundant that it takes virtually no effort to acquire any good or service that you want -- thus eliminating need for money.
