here, let me help you...

vivid verbs paint pictures in your head, and they're active verbs. examples are as follows:

sprinted, flipped, strip, chop, cower, shuffle, twist, shrivel, plodded, barked, chirped, squeak, hiss, etc.

there are many more actually... :)

Never heard tha term before. Can you give an example of what you mean?
Words that can be applied to English verbs include:
action (active), stative, non-stative, transitve, intransitive, seperable.....
