Here's how you remember the difference between 'me' or 'I'... if you were to take out the other part which would it be...
For example, would you say, 'my parents woke me' or 'my parents woke i'... see? So the correct answer is 'my parents woke my brother and me'

my parents woke my brother and me. my grandma was a teacher and told it to me like this: to figure out weather to use me or I think of how you would say it if you were just talking about yourself. since you would say my parents woke me that would be the correct way

You wouldn't say "My parents woke I."? Would you? Just take "my brother" out, and see how it sounds.

The first one....in both instances take out my brother and see how it sounds and then you will understand. use me at the end of a sentence and I at the begining of a sentence.
