It all depends on how much leather is in the shoes. If you're starting up, cheap shoes are fine and they should cost 30-40. They'll last you a season or so. If you wear kids sizes they will be even cheaper. More leather= more expensive and they can go up to 80. Also, make sure you get some with velcro covers, because a lot of refs are cracking down on tying shoes in the middle of a match.

Agreeing with John H that some non fake studio wrestling questions are good!
Anywhere from $30 - $80
(and to the person who said regular running shoes will do; regular running shoes are not good for wrestling mats so he probably will want to (maybe need to based on his coach) buy real wrestling shoes)

they all cost the same , a wrestling shoe is a wrestling shoe. if you wear under a size 6 they are cheaper. if you go to any tournaments there are always wrestlers selling stuff ( freestyle and greco) but I usually just search the web and can usually find a good deal. i buy alot of my sons shoes here !

I believe my son's wrestling shoes were somewhere in the $50-$60 ballpark. There are probably some that are cheaper but his father doesn't know the meaning of cheap.
