There has been an Eastern Conference finals rematch from the previous season seventeen times. That is way too many to list here but I will tell you this. The record for the same two teams meeting in the Eastern Conference finals is four consecutive years. The Celtics and 76ers met each year from 1965 to 1968 and the Celtics and Knicks faced each other every season from 1971 to 1974. In fact the Celtics have been involved in eleven of the seventeen rematches.

Lakers and the Celtics! just to work out what the result could be. The Spurs are an uneventful group and that i will fairly tolerate them. Boston is the only group in the East able to bringing down the Lakers.
