This is a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson. Could someone please tell me what it means. I belive that it means that we are all different in very loose terms. If you could please give me your opinion on its meaning that would be great! Thanks

It means that we all get mad over different things - some people get angry is someone teases them whereas others couldn't care and only get mad for the big stuff like the environment and world politics

i'm sure he meant that we have different degrees before we burst out in anger.... which means that some people are hot tempered while others are slow to anger, and people get angry over different things.

:)
