we live in TN and all of our family lives in Ohio, so a week before Christmas we get all 5 kids in the car and head up home and spend the week with my mom and open gifts from her and what we got them and just spend time with them have a big dinner with all the family with over a 100 people at the dinner at my moms house and then we head home on Christmas Eve Morning so we can get home early and get the girls and i bake cookies and my husband and son goes and hunts for a couple of hours while we bake cookies then the kids go to bed and we wrap presents and Santa comes and then in the morning we get, woke up by the kids cause they know not to get into the presents till mom and dad is up so, my husband starts a pot of coffee,, and then the kids get into their stockings and then my husband passes out the presents to all the kids and they wait till every one has their presents and then from the oldest to the youngest opens their presents so everyone gets to see what every body got and then i go and start a big breakfast and we eat and then just sit around and spend time with the kids,,, that is our tradition and I hope that it is what our kids will pass on to with their family,,, I hope every one has a very merry christmas and a Happy New Year

We have a Christmas Eve Dinner ( Ham, Sparkling grape juice[we don't drink much achohol because of under age people] cresents exc...) Go to the Christmas Eve service at our church. On the way home we look at the Christmas Lights displays. When we get back home we watch Its a Wonderful Life and open 1 present. Then we wake really early the next day and start for those stockings and presents. we have a special christmas breakfast. Then later that afternoon we go over to our grandmothers and have a special dinner and spend time with the rest of the family. we eat, give gifts, and watch movies.

Christmas time in my family is very special to me. It makes me feel so warm and happy. I can't wait to continue the traditions with my kids.

I start celebrating on christmas eve usually with chips and dip even though this year I am going to have to find a low-fat way to do it then on Christmas Day I get up open my gifts that are under the tree and for dinner I have a really good and thick juicy t-bone steak, baked potato and salad. Oh also on christmas eve I have spiked eggnog with brandy maybe yes, maybe no, depends on if I can find some low-fat eggnog.

My family has a Christmas Eve together and then we have Christmas on Christmas Day. But this year I have to work on Christmas and my kids are not to happy about it. I asked for the day off but my boss said I had to find my own coverage I think she did that because she has to work too. Sucks!!!

We celebrate on christmas. Since we are all grown and out of the house now we usually all go over to my parents house around 2 or 3 pm for the usual giving out gifts, and eating and socializing. The only tradition we have is giving out gifts, eating, and talking about the cheap siblings who gave out nothing. Also explaining to my dad that stuff my mom bought him is name brand, it's just that he doesn't know fashion.
