If so were they good dreams? I'm still waiting to dream of my dad, I pray every night and nothing. He died 19 months ago.

I dream of people all the time... people from my past, and present. Sometimes they're good, and sometimes they're not... but usually they're just really weird, like it mixes people and places that never actually had any association

I am sorry. Maybe you are too busy expecting a dream, and havent noticed some other signs about him. I believe that people contact their loved ones in different ways when they pass on. Was your father very traditional and predictable? or was he more spontaneous and imaginative. Maybe you will meet someone that reminds you of him, or maybe you have recently, or maybe you will read something or see something, or even smell a familiar scent somewhere that reminds you of him. All thses things could be signs from him. Then again, you could be dreaming about him every night, and not remembering those dreams. He is still with you.

My dad died about 2 years ago and I've never had a dream about him. Sorry for your lose

i lost my boyfriend and best friend that moved away to suicide and the night after it happened i had a dream about him telling me to let go of him and move on then jumping off a building
just keep praying your dad will come to you
some just take longer than others..my dads dad died and he didnt have a dream about him until 2 years after his death
like i said just keep praying =]

You know when my mom died i used to dream about her all the time she would come to me and we would be either at home or visiting family and then she would tell me she was leaving and i would tell her that i wanted to go and she would tell me no and i would wake up crying all the time !She past 11 years ago and i still dream of her but you will but don't expect it just let it happen on its own you have to let it come naturally and trust me it seems so real!!!! Condolences on your lost.
Unless you get psychic messages in your sleep, you may never dream of him. Usually dreams deal with suppressed emotions.
My suggestion is to set up an ancestral alter and say hello to all of your deceased relatives every morning and evening.
Put out water and light a candle for them. Ask him to visit you in your sleep if that is what you want. You may end up getting little hints he is around, like a smell that reminds you of him.

Why would you need to dream of a man that you think about nearly every waking moment. I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. Nothing but time will heal your pain, and eventually, he will meet you in your dreams.

Dreams are sort of your mind's way of filing memories, long term and short. They don't usually mean anything, but if you want to dream about your father, thinking about him all day will probably give you such a dream. I hope you get your wish.

My dad passed away in1988 and I still haven't had a dream of him..I sure do miss him but if I had a dream I know I'd cry so I'm happy I don't
