425 miles

I do not know what a mile or a gallon is but I assume it is some weird measurement for distance and volume.

Assuming that is true this is easy to find. You would need to find your miles to gallon which is

340 miles / 20 gallons which is 17 miles to a gallon.

Now you know your miles to gallon, you times it by the number of gallons you are going and you will have

17 miles to a gallon * 25 gallons is 425 miles.

Everyone is assuming 17 miles per gallon and getting 425 miles. But the extra weight from the extra 5 gallons will cause the car to get less than 17 mpg while using the first 5 gallons of gas.

This is a ratio and proportion problem. Treat it as such. 340/20 = What/25. Using algebra, multiply both sides by 25 to get your answer. 340*25/20=Answer=What
