Reading the ADP study:
The Honda Civic, Dodge Viper and Chevrolet Impala SS achieved the best resale values among imported and domestic cars in the ADP study.
The Toyota Land Cruiser had the highest retained value of any vehicle, car or light truck in the study.

You know that really matters where you are! I am currently living in the United States and my room mate is looking into buying a Jaguar... But according to the dealer "British cars drop in value really easy". According to the same dealer, "Most of the time its Toyota, Lexus and Mercedes that hold their resale value pretty well". I am just another consumer like you but obviously the dealer has some credibility in these matters. I also agree with the other person who has answered with the single word "Honda". They do retain their value pretty well as well.

probably the reason that honda and mercedes have the strongest retail values in the market are for the same reasons. u cannt but better cars in thier respective cost brackets
and the safest money spent is manafacturters pre owned programs. people w money dont buy new cars cuz u wont get rich buying new cars

one word honda my dad works there they have awsome cars great all the way around havent you herd the comercials?
it is on the five freeway then to the fifthty seven exit ball rd. in anahiem. trust me thier cars are great and it is hardin honda but what ever you do do not go on thursday he does not work then

for normal people, the japanese imports fair the best. For the very wealthy, you have any of the pasta rockets, or any other extremely high end.
