I think we talk to all the nations around there that left these people out in the cold so to speak, to make a statement. The opression is not brought about by Israel but rather the states around that created this mess.

For UN to put pressure on the Israeli government. Plus the EU to let the Israeli Parliament know that it doesn't support this form of apartheid there against the Palestinian people. In fact there is a Jewish organisation in Israel who have been campaigning for better treatmenent for Palestinian people for years. But also let Jewish American know about this, after all they have been sending funds for years to Israel.

Really? So when they try to kill all the Jewish people that is not something that is wrong?
You stop it by having the PLO and Ha mas accept the rights of the Jewish people and stop trying to kill them. Then you need to admit that the Palestians never had a country untill the other Arab countries kept kicking them out of their country and was told to settle in Israel so they, the Palestians, might get a country from the U.N. after Israel got their country back in 1948!

I don't think it's quite the worst, but certainly in the top 5.
How to stop it?
--Stop pouring billions of dollars in "aid" to Israel while American AND Palestinian children both starve and go without health care or a decent health care system, go without food, their parents without jobs.
--Stop voting for politicians who would blindly say "our friends" right or wrong. Indeed, organize against them and damn the accusations of anti-Semitism that will automatically and surely follow--which are nothing but diversions, red herrings, and outright canards.
--Americans must take a stand--whether that's in protests in the street, involving themselves in US policy, running for office certain candidates and working to defeat others who would oppose justice in the Middle East and elsewhere...All must write letters, must donate to certain candidates and let everyone else know why, to all kinds of civil, economic, and social protest...name it.
--Let there be TRUE condemnation, national and international, along with appropriate censure and consequences for such oppression among all people of conscience and of peace. Enforce the many United Nations resolutions condemning Israel's actions on multiple issues on multiple fronts, but which Israel shrugs off, thumbs their noses, and then get away with. .
--The Palestinians are not all right in their behaviors and actions, but clearly the Israeli's and/or Zionists (according to your preference) too must "own" their evil and accept the consequences for. And, that is something they are absolutely not willing to do...and. again, they always get away with it.
--Sabra and Chatila anyone?
--Moshe Dyan and other "Israeli Freedom Fighters" in 1948 and beyond (if not also before) conducted multiple actual terrorist raids against Palestinians to get them to abandon their lands and never come back--and then Israelis could take it for themselves and claim the land as their own. It worked.
This essential goal and behavior has never really stopped: Currently sound familiar?-->Land grabs by Israeli settlers in recent years has contributed to the ongoing, intractable problem/cycle of mistrust and suspicion resulting in mutual violence.
As well, Palestinians have yet to receive compensation for THEIR lands siezed, homes destroyed. And yet Isreali rights trumps everyone else's? Such arrogance and impunity has created ever higher amounts of hatred, animosity, and revenge. People then should not sit back wondering why. .
--Heard about the wall that has been internationally condemned, but is still apparently being built by Israel for purposes of security that seals in/cuts off Palestinian communities without mercy or consideration. Talk about creating a ghetto (a la Europe's Jewish ghettos that they, themselves, were forced to live in. And. they're confiscating Palestinian property to do it? How's that for rapprochement? H
Ever notice how "security" for Israeli's always encompasses the incremental annexing of the lands of others. It's an incremental appropriation of others' property, people whose civil rights have consistently been abused, disregarded, and denied. How's that for a "good neighbor" policy? And, heard in recent days of the report just released showing that Israel has confiscated and held for itself lands which belong to Palestinians to the tune of 39%. How does that work? But, then again, I've just told you....
--Further, I still haven't forgotten all the aid and "police force training" they gave to white Afrikaners in apartheid-era South Africa, specifically training them to keep Blacks "in line" and oppressed. I have a whole lot of "never forgets" over that nasty business and their aligning themselves with the racist Afrikaners. Talk about contributing to genocide.
--Oh, and let's not forget: Anybody hear about how the African Jews from Ethiopa have been treated? No one will say, much less admit, publically that Jewish-white racism/rules the day over their own fellow Jews of a darker persuasion. I know this bc an American Jew with first hand knowledge volunteered this info. to me privately. BUT. she certainly was singing an entirely different tune the evening before in a group meeting. Go figure.
There are lots of "never forgets" If only people would simply try to remember: History will repeat itself for those who refuse to learn from it. Unfortunately, they end up taking a whole bunch of us innocents along for the ugly ride.
Remember: No justice, no peace.
