Dress for the job you're applying for. You wouldn't wear Jeans to a Law Firm job so don't wear a suit for K mart... You get what I'm saying. I don't know what takeaway is but if you're 15 I'm guessing it isn't something real professional. Is it like a grocery store kind of place? Just wear some nice jeans and a nice collared shirt or maybe just some khaki jeans and a solid shirt. Don't wear red to an interview, it doesn't give off a good vibe. I would stick to a neutral colored shirt like maybe black or gray. Easy on the perfume...please! Just be classy casual.

You should most definitely wear a nice pair of black or khaki color pants (more dressy/business than casual), and a nice shirt, no t-shirts or shirts with words or pictures. Maybe a sweater? Or a polo/Collar Shirt would be perfect. You should take a good attitude with you, and a smile :-).... Oh maybe if you can, just in case, bring a student ID if you have one, and your Social Security Card... Interveiws can be kind of scary, but don't worry too much about it, I'm 15 almost 16 and I've ad a lot of interveiws, it's scary at first then afterwards you realize that it wasn't all that bad. You may or may not need that stuff, but it's better to be prepared. Good luck! Email me and tell me how it goes!~ miz_ndpendent25@yahoo.com ~Sierra

You shouldn't be any more informal than what you would wear on the job. And you can't really go wrong dressing up from that. Plus, it will make you more confident if you're "dressed up" a bit.
Good luck!
P.S. Be sure to get their business cards or email addresses and write to them by the next day. Also be sure to find out what the next step is in the process of getting the job. AND ASK FOR THE JOB!!!

Dress for one level higher than the job you are interviewing for. For most professional jobs a suit (either with pants or skirt) is always a sure thing. For retail -- it depends on the type of store, think of how their salespeople dress and aim a little higher.

What women should wear for a job interview:
Avoid dresses.
Shoes should have conservative heels.
Use a briefcase rather than a purse.
Conservative nail polish.
Minimal use of make up.
Limit jewellery to one wedding ring and one set of earrings.

Something halfway between what you'd wear to hang out with friends and what you'd wear to church. In otherwords, nice casual!
