I just would like a list of some colleges that would help me get a degree to become a travel agent.

I've tried to Google some information but I couldn't find any colleges.

You can try fastweb.com and collegeboard.com I know both of them have searches to look up colleges based on different criteria...I'm not sure if that will help you or not...Also if you know any travel agents/or just try contacting one and tell them that you want to become one and are not sure where to go to school to see if they have any suggestions.

Good Luck

Try: DART.org/DARTTravelAgent; www.infoagent.org. Just checked it out on Yahoo and those sites came up when asked for a list of colleges for travel agents. Good Luck!

You might try this US News and World Report Site:

http://www.usnews.com/usnews/edu/college/rankings/rankindex_brief.php

It may not give you the list broken down by travel agent as a potential study area, but at least it will give you large list of highly ranked colleges and universities.

Cornell University has one of the top schools for the hospitality industry.

Hotel management and hospitality may be the types of programs to search. I realize that does not say "travel agent", but it may be in that realm of industry.
