Area of what?

Rectangle = b×h
Square = l^2
Trapezium = ½(l+b)h
Ellipse = πlb
Circle = πr2
Triangle = ½b×h

Depending what shape you're working with use the area formula for the shape. First , Look up the area formula of that shape and fill in the information to solve for area.

Area can be a variety of different things and has different formulas depending on what you're looking for.

Area of a triangle equals 1/2(base)(height)
Area of a circle is (pi)(r)^2

So.. it depends what you are wanting the area for.

Area of what???? There are formulas for calculating areas of all sorts-------circles, triangles, rectangles, ellipses.......need more info here.

area of square is base times the height.
area of triangle is 1/2 base times height.

triangle : 1/2(base)(height)=area
circle: (pi)(r)^2=area
square: (base)(height)=area
