Wow, there are so many options, I have been through most of them and have been happy with T mobile for a couple years now. All companies have plans that allow for lots of text messaging. The newest one that a friend of mine just got which is unlimited calls and text for 45 a month prepaid, is that new Cricket or something like it. That is the best deal and no contract!

I got Sprint and got Samsung a 900...
It cost me 99 dollars and it is pretty good...
I think sprint is the best since it has good receptions and good service...
Verizon is all right but everything involves money...
Cingular is also rip-off and they have the higest bills in the phone company..
T-mobiles has the worst reception I ever had...

All company have the text messaging service...
It probably good for t-mobile though, they got cheap features like ringtones, games, but their reception sucks..

Seems to me that it would depend on where you live, and what phone-companies are available to you, and what they have to offer. And where it concerns the model, that's a matter of taste. But Motorola seems to be growing in popularity. Good luck with what ever decision you'll make.

no matter what company you get you can probably tack onto your plan the "unlimited texting" thingy for like 10 bucks a month.

It's worth it for us people who couldn't be bothered to call people,

or care that our words are cold and expressionless, and feel as

though most of the time these people aren't worth the energy it

takes to exhale the breath to form words to communicate with

them. $10 bucks, worth it.

i have used cricket for years and never had a problem with it.
i like the ability to call anyone, anywhere and anytime and not have to even think about add on charges its all included with the one price that you pay every month. it can't get much simpler. they also have a text plan, and you don't even need credit. try it for
awhile you will be telling your friends, and ask them about the refer a friend program.

Go to the website of each provider you want to consider, look at what they offer and compare it with what you use.... Then make a sound decision based on your needs.
