Plummer was only a small problem the Broncos have. First there running game is inconsistent. Tatum Bell is not an every down back. Mike Bell is an average RB right now with decent potential. Tom Nalen there #1 offensive lineman is out for the year plus George Foster is playing like crap. They have no tight end that can catch plus Plummer's favorite target(Rod Smith) is an aging WR. I honestly think Cutler will be a good QB but the same problems will plague Cutler that have plagued Plummer. Broncos fans are some of the best in football but because some QB is not Elway they bash them for everything. Cutler would be better off elsewhere as will Jake Plummer.

Im a diehard Broncos fan. The Broncos needed to make this move now or never. With Plummer at the helm the Broncos had no chance at a SB. Starting Cutler is a risk, but it gives them the best chance to win a SB. If they started him any later than this week it would have been too late in the year. He'll give the offense that spark it needs (as many rookie QBs tend to do) and with offensive success it will take some pressure off the defense. All around a better plan for the Broncos.

Im glad that finally that the Broncos have let Cutler start. Jake sucked in the last couple games!!! Hes just too inconsistent. Cutler should be able to bring stability to the Bronco's Offense. Jake was horrible at throwing this season and based on the Preseason, Cutler should do just fine. Just look at what Young has done for the Titans and what Matt Linert will do for Arizona. I think Cutler's the best out of them because hes so good at what a QB is meant to do, stay in the pocket and pass.

there is a difference when you have a rookie making mistakes and a "seasoned veteran" making the same ones. cutler is a rookie and mistakes are to be expected but he will continue to learn as his career goes on. as for plummer, forget it, he has no excuse. he has been in this league for way to long to be making mistakes like he has been. so i think it is a good idea to go with cutler because with plummer they were getting the same results as with a rookie. at least this way cutler will get some experience and the broncos will have a good QB for the first time since Elway left.

I've been a Broncos fan forever and I've been supporting Jake all year...but last week I finally agree w/everyone else that they were going nowhere fast w/Plummer. Not that it was all his fault, but if Cutler is as good as everyone says he is then hopefully the rest of this year will be fun to watch for Denver fans.

Rookie mistakes will do him in if his team is behind and they need to throw a lot. He should be handing off the ball to that great running attack and let the Denver defense help out too.

I'm stoked!

I got really tired of Jake and his bonehead mistakes. Cutler is very smart, and made due with terrible help at Vandy.

I think he's going to be in good shape with Javon Walker and Smith on his side. They like him.

I just hope the injuries stop!

The Donkies can't do any worse than what Plummer was doing. Either way, it's a win for everybody else in the league. Plummer sucks, and Cutler is all hype and no substance. He's the second coming of Kordell Stewart.

I ain't a Broncos fan, Bears Baby!!! But since Vince is doing pretty good and Leinart hasn't had too much trouble, I think he'll do fine. He did have the best passer rating in the NFL in the pre-season.
