Even though you're a Favre fan you might agree with this logic and Top 3 all time:

Montana
Elway
Favre

It comes down to statistics AND Super Bowl wins. Pretty hard to argue with Montanas numbers. Favre's a warrior. He should play one more.

Its not a question of how many super bowl rings, its a question of if you got one. Dan marino has all the numbers but no ring and he is condisred by most to be the best quarterback out there. if, i mean when farve breaks all his records, you have to say Favre is the best there is. All he has done was take his team to the superbowl twice, be the MVP of the NFL 3 times and almost a fourth, has been one of the top five quarterbacks in almost every season he has played in. Favre has done it with above average teams when other quarterbacks have done it with superstar teams. If free agency was in existence back then I'm sure montana wouldn't have won all those super bowls and that goes for a lot of other quartebacks.

Joe Montana 4-0 in the Super Bowl and 3 Super Bowl MVPs

Joe Montana.

Followed by Johnny Unitas and Terry Bradshaw (TB won 4 Super Bowl rings).

Brett Farve is the most over-rated QB ever...he's won like two playoff games in the last 10 years (same as Michael Vick).

Brett Farve is tied with guys like Trent Dilfer with one (count 'em) one Super Bowl ring. That's only one more than I'VE won, for cryin' out loud....

I would say Farve. He is so gutsy, and even though he throughs a lot of interceptions, he makes up for it. He is the only QB who seems to thrive in cold weather.
