Check out these bands. Block party, gyroscope, AFI, my chemical romance, new found glory, drop kick Murphy's, magic dirt, the living end, Green day, 3 days grace, Eskimo Joe, Sarah McLeod, The super Jesus, little birdy, Sleepy Jacksons, Kaiser Cheifs, Nine inch nails.... The list goes on. If you are in Australia i recommend giving Triple J a listen to, its an Australian radio station that plays Alternative, good rock etc... They have unearthed some of the greatest musicians out at the moment : )

check out the Deftones..they have some great hard rock songs like Around the Fur, Back to School, Change, Minerva...check them out......The Fray is a band a little bit ago I never would have thought I would like, but the more I listen the more I realize they are really good.....30 second to Mars is pretty good as well.
