I would and do believe in God.
If in the end I was wrong, who cares?

Well, first option, but sometimes I think in the possibility that when I die I found out that he doesnt exist, wow, that'd be really hard, so many people believing, so many centuries.
But I rather believe, it's better to do so

I'd rather not believe - I don't appreciate threats about what's going to happen to me after I die - which neither you nor I know. The xtian religion is a religion of guilt and threats for the most part - if you don't BELIEVE as I DO you are GOING TO HELL after you die - I mean, come on - give me a break.

I don't think it would matter if the only reason you believed in him was just "in case" he existed... that's not a real Christian or is even close
if you aren't doing it for the right reasons... I don't think it would matter, it would just be a huge waste of everyone's time... He knows our hearts...

I'll do you one better:
I'd rather not believe silly ancient superstitious fairy tales like jesus, and then already know thanks to science, reason, and logic that I'm right.
When I die, I'll be dead -- that's it. After dying nobody will be finding out anything -- they'll be DEAD. Finished. Over. A former person.
