On the chance you might actually be Iranian I willl answer your question. First of all it doesn't matter to me or most other Americans I'm sure that you either are or aren't Muslim. Second, there probably are some that wish to see an end to your nation but I don't believe all Americans feel that way. Some still harbor hatred towards your nation for the kidnappings which occured in the early 80's and some still are a little nervous about the apparent work that is being done with nuclear technology in Iran. While I don't think we should stick our nose into a sovreign nations business if it doesn't affect us (to a degree) I must admit the thought of Iran or any other nation in that region of the world having nuclear weapon capability scare me simply because of the volitile nature in which that part of the world continues to find itself. As far as Iranian Muslims or any other person(s) hating the US I don't think that either. I'm sure there are some who do but wouldn't believe all do. It is sad that we can't all live together in peace respecting each others right to worship and/or live as we choose but in saying that I must say that the attacks on the US by extremist terroristic muslims or any other group should and will be defended. If that means our troops coming into Iran because that country is PROVEN to be supporting terrorists who are targeting our country or an ally then attack attack attack. I want my children and wife protected and am willing to defend them at whatever cost. Trust me...I am ready and wouldn't think twice about it but would rather not be pushed into that corner. I hope that answers your question and you realize that we as a nation want to live in peace.

First of all you are the first Iranian that has said so and I'm thrilled to answer you.I think I speak for all Americans when I say we don't hate any country or certain kinds of people be they Iranians,Jewish,Chinese,North Koreans or any other people. You and your Friends need to understand our country was attacked on Sept 11 by Muslim terrorists killing thousands of our innocent people. Then you have the story of Saddam and developing nukes, which you know can kill millions of people.Your country seems hell bent on having nukes, which frankly makes most people very nervous considering some of the crazy things your President has said.Remember what Hitler did to the world when they let him have his way.I wish you and the Iranian people well and hopefully God willing our Governments can work out their differences.

I support our military and in that, support their mission. I do not want to kill people but during times of war, this is the result. I believe in the concept that a nations government IS it's people and by that logic, I believe some portion of my government is dishonest and some portion is not.
Now, on to Iran and your leadership. The only thing we Americans who are paying attention have to make a call on is the past behavior of your leadership. Taking hostages, spreading the message of radical Islam, and promoting/promising the total obliteration of Israel and western influence.
I am not brainwashed. I am proud to be a citizen here. We make mistakes like anyone else but I still believe in freedom for all. Radical Islam does not believe this. As I have no way to know you are Iranian and posting from Iran, I have to take you at your word. Would you deny your President and religious leadership has an agenda to destroy Israel? Israel is a friend of America, you wage war on someone's friend, you get what you get.
As to the Muslim faith, we welcome peaceful Muslims. We do NOT however, welcome the radical faction, which your President and religious leadership promotes.

Dear Mr. Iranian Citizen -
Your country is ruled by a fanatical, religious, deranged psychopath, Mahmond Ahmadinejad. And worse, his rise to power means that most of the real power now lies with the Shiite clergy and their supreme religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
You state that you are not Muslim, and I would strongly suggest, that if it is indeed the truth and I were you, I would be constantly looking over my shoulder and in fear of my life every minute of every day. You are, after all, an infidel, and, most certainly, in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Your leader supports the Revolutionary Guards, Hezbollah, Jihad, al Qaeda, Humas and the total annihilation of the Jewish state of Israel - not to mention the death of all infidels throughout the entire world - and he is on the verge of being in procession of nuclear weapons.
Any wonder why I would lose no sleep if your country were to be destroyed?
The United States and every civilized nation most certainly wants peace - unfortunately, the key word here is "civilized."
Sincerely,
Concerned American Citizen

Don't be fooled by what Bush says...I don't think the Iranians hate Americans, or at least they wouldn't if we minded our own business. Sadly, the majority of Americans were tricked by Bush into supporting the war in Iraq however I opposed this war from its very beginnings. Our government here is dishonest, deceptive and vile but I believe we are beginning to turn it around though it will take some time. Thanks for caring.

This is not the answer to anything. It's a lot of male egos fighting if you ask me. We are the people who loose in the long run, every stinking time. Look at history!

Do you know that your president, Ahmadinejad, has called for the total destruction of Israel? If that isn't the ultimate in hate, I don't know what is.

No, no, and no. Unfortunately sometimes war is necessary. However this American crusade in the middle east is not.
