there's this young person who i think has a crush on me and when my husband came to visit, this person made a point to come up to me and ask me if that was my dad?! my husband doesn't look old.. so, the question kind of floored me.

Hello:
I think it is this young person's way of throwing you off balance. Almost anyone can tell a husband and wife relationship apart from a father and daughter relationship. It's all about the interaction between the two people. And unless I was 100% certain, I would never ask someone if the person they were with was their father. That's just not the type of question people normally ask.
I would say not to worry about it. If this person continues to bother you, maybe take them aside and tell them that you are very much in love with your husband and their attention is making you uncomfortable. Or mention that it is entirely unprofessional to ask a personal question like that to a guest of yours.

If your guy was not affectionate at all, some one might have though it was your dad. So guys just don't get it when a hubby comes over and stands 20 feet away from his wife, does not touch her and does not look at her. Sure the wife is lost in love for this love less guy, but other guys don't get it. If the guy had someone as hot as you, he touch you all the time.
