The most I seen on my ultrasound was a spot. The uterus itself was light...grey, and than you could see the the egg sac with a little spot in it. But I assume that it could be a little different because it has been a while since Ive had an ultrasound.

Hello there,
When i'm six week pregnant with my two baby, i have the transvaginal ultrasound and I can see the fetal poles with heart motion, and 100% of the yolk sacs at this point. You can actually see your baby at this point. It's very excitting movement.
By the end of the week your baby will be 4-6 mm Crown to Rump (CR). The larynx starts to form as does the inner ear. The lining of the placenta begins developing but the placenta will not take over production of the hormones until about week 12.
The heart is bulging from the body and blood circulation is well established. Upper and lower limb buds will appear this week. And the primordia of the liver, pancreas, lungs, and stomach are evident.
Good luck to you, have a nice day, and enjoy the pregnancy!

I found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks also, and I only suspected it because of a missed period, I had no symptoms at that point either. I am now 9 weeks and 3 days along and have the lower back ache pain like you mentioned, slight morning sickness, and extreme fatigue. I had my first ultrasound 2 days ago (they wanted to wait because the place I went to feels more comfortable doing it at 7 weeks, and then I had to wait because they were closed for Thanksgiving week!) and since I am further along than you, it actually resembled a baby, with a clearly defined head and body and arm and leg "stubs". It was amazing. At 6 weeks, I believe you will be able to see what looks like more of a "blob", but the sac should be visible. They will verify the pregnancy if they can see it in the uterus. Congratulations, it's an exciting time!

I just had a transvaginal ultrasound yesterday. Im exactly 6 weeks today. You really dont see much on the ultrasound. Just a black dot with a tiny spec that an arrow is pointing to the tiny baby you kind of have to have good eyes to see exactly where the baby is.

I too had a transvaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks which was about 3 weeks ago. I saw the small sac and the heartbeat. They could tell that the heartbeat was a normal beat but that was a bout all I saw. They did mine to see if it was viable and it certainly was. Good luck to you.

Look action movie star get a life and get out of here.
Sorry I was sick of seeing its answers about being in the wrong place. Obviously it can't read to well.
On with you question. When you have your ultrasound done you should see what looks like just a round, circular object in you uterus. There is nothing that looks like a baby at this point. I had one done at seven weeks and they called my baby a yolk sac thingy. I didn't know what I was looking for until the doc pointed it out. The fetus will just look like a circular, round thing. I hope this helps and I hope everything turns out alright for you.

At 6 weeks you will see nothing more than what looks like a jelly bean. Your baby is really tiny at this stage. To make you feel better with my son I never had any symptoms either. Good luck tomorrow.

It looks a lot different from a regular ultra sound--I've had a couple and they are awkward, but the angle is good for the technician. You probably won't see much, but they'll definitely be able to tell if everythings ok.

at six weeks my baby looked like a spec of rice. But if I am not mistaken I believe they saw the heart beating and showed me where it was. You see a black spot and the little white speck inside of it. Just telling you from my experience.
