"And Other Little Known Facts About The Declaration Of Independence... Who Signed Last? It is believed Thomas McKean of Delaware was the last person to sign. When Congress authorized the printing of an official copy with the names attached in January 1777, McKean's name was not included. He signed after that date, or the printer made a mistake by omitting him."

Not sure if this is what you are looking for as it appears there is some discrepancy, but there you go.

Most people say "Thomas McKean"

But they don't know about Joseph Paternowski, the museum janitor who was arrested after signing his name on the back of the original copy of the Declaration kept in the Capital Building, making him the last person to sign!

p.s. He pled no contest to charges of trespass and vandalism and asked for mercy, claiming he was drunk and wanted to declare his independence as his divorce had just been finalized.
