when do you believe the world will self destruct?

There's no reason the Earth will ever SELF destruct. It will however end when the sun runs out of Hydrogen nuclear fuel, and expands and envelops the Earth. You've got a few more Billion years before that happens though.

i believe the earth, like the four seasons of each year, continuously cycles. all around us every aspect of nature is continually in cyclic motion as all moves forward through space and time. our planet would only poison itself if a parasitical infestation proves too deeply rooted in the cycles of life and, in turn, creates a disturbance in the universal cycle. the earth is not looking for a way out, but instead is hoping to provide the physical ground for the next evolutionary step; individual consciousness control

The would will never self destruct but it would be destroyed one day, when the sun is in its death throws and grows to become a red giant, engulfing the earth and incinerating it.
Fortunately this is a couple billion years from now.

Never, because nothing on the world would cause itself to destruct.

Whats going to happen is that the Sun will cool down, expand, and during the expansion it will swallow up and destroy the Earth.
